Green Industrial Services LLC (“Green Industrial Services”) and its affiliates and subsidiaries understand the importance of your privacy. This Privacy Notice applies to all our interactions with you, including when you visit our website greenindustrialservices.net, request or receive professional services, participate in our educational or marketing events, request information from us, apply for a job, or when you otherwise provide information to Green Industrial Services (collectively, the “services”). Our Privacy Notice describes our collection of information during your interactions with our services, and the rights and choices you have regarding your information.

By using our website or any of our services, you agree with the terms of this Privacy Notice and our Terms of Use. Depending on your activities when visiting our website, you may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions.

Information Collection

Green Industrial Services collects data, including personal information, about you. “Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household. In the previous twelve months, we have collected various types of information, including:

  • Browsing Information. We collect browsing information automatically when you visit our website. This information includes: IP address, Browser type, browser settings, Device ID, Operating System, Cookie ID.
  • Commercial Information. We collect commercial information when you become our client or vendor, or if you voluntarily provide it to us. The information includes business address, phone number, and email.
  • Contact Information. We collect contact information when you provide it to us at an event, via email, online form and job application submissions, or through other means. The information includes name, contact details, home address, email, or phone number.
  • Financial Information. We collect financial information when you pay us for any services, become an employee, or become a vendor. We may use third party vendors that collect this information on our behalf. Information includes payment card details and customer account information.
  • Education & Employment Information. We collect education information when you apply for a position and complete interviews. Information includes school records and transcripts, resumes, reference letters, and information on previous employment.

We collect personal information from a variety of different sources, including:

  • Website Visitors. We collect browsing information automatically from those who visit our website. We collect contact information, commercial information, and social media data from those who provide it voluntarily via contact forms, job applications, and email messages.
  • Clients. We will collect commercial information, contact information, and financial information when you voluntarily become our client.
  • Cookies and Trackers. We use cookies and other embedded tracking technology like web beacons, including from third parties such as which automatically collect users’ browsing information when they use our website. You will find other parties’ trackers on our website. Other parties like our analytics and advertising partners place code with cookies or web beacons embedded in them. Sensitive Information

Green Industrial Services does not knowingly collect, use, or process personal information, which is classified as sensitive information, under certain US or foreign legislation, such as information about a known child, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data or biometric data in limited circumstances. Do not provide Green Industrial Services with any sensitive information. If we find that sensitive information has been collected inadvertently, we will delete it upon discovery.

How We Use Collected Information

Green Industrial Services uses personal information for a variety of business purposes, as described below and within this policy. Specifically, this includes:

  • Client Information. We may use your information to perform a contract we are about to or have entered into with you.

We may verify your references, qualifications, and/or conduct a criminal records check for certain vetting purposes, where permissible and in accordance with applicable law.

We transfer all or a portion of your information to our service providers who help us deliver our products and services to you and for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice. Although Green Industrial Services requires these third parties meet our privacy and security requirements, Green Industrial Services does not control the privacy or security policies of such third parties.

Green Industrial Services may share demographic information with business partners, but it will be aggregated and de-personalized, so that personal information is not revealed.
  • For Data Analytics. We share your information with analytics service providers such as Google. Google may combine your browsing information, including information from your use of our website, to generate interest-based advertisements.

Green Industrial Services uses cookies to help identify and track visitors, their usage of the website, and their website access preferences. Please include your email address, full name, and your specific information about your request(s) and, if applicable, specifically what information you do not want to receive. If you would like to update or correct your email address, street address, or other personal information with us, please include specific details about the information you wish to have updated or corrected.

For requests submitted by email, you must provide enough information that allows us to verify your identity. Only you or your authorized agent may make requests regarding your personal information. An authorized agent must have documentation that they are authorized to act on your behalf. Green Industrial Services will attempt to fulfill or reject your request within the amount of time required by law.

Do Not Track Signals

CalOPPA requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals. DNT is a privacy preference you can set in your web browser to indicate that you do not want certain information about your webpage visits collected across websites when you have not interacted with that service on the page. For details, including how to turn on DNT, see here. Because there currently isn’t an industry or legal standard recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we don’t respond to them at this time.

Nevada Privacy Rights

Nevada residents have the right to opt-out of the sale of their Personal Information by, emailing us (see our contact information below) and including “NV Sale Opt Out Request” in the subject line. Please note we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity and the authenticity of the request. We will respond to your request within sixty (60) days and, once verified, we will maintain your opt-out request in the event our practices change. Please note that this right does not apply to business-to-business customers, employment applicants, or independent contractors to us, or if the disclosure of Personal Information is for purposes consistent with the Nevada resident’s reasonable expectations, when considering the submission’s circumstances.

Age Restrictions

By accepting the Privacy Notice through your use of our website or services, you certify that you are 18 years of age or older. Green Industrial Services does not have actual knowledge of any personal information about individuals under the age of 18 whose information has been collected through our website or services. If we become aware that a person submitting information to us is a minor, we delete the information as soon as we discover it.

We may update or change this Privacy Notice from time to time. We will post the changes on our website and will indicate the effective date. Your continued use of our website or our services after the changes are effective constitutes your acceptance of the Privacy Notice.
